New photovoltaic plant in Meccanotecnica Umbra

Meccanotecnica Umbra continues on its path of sustainability: a new 160.72 kW photovoltaic plant was recently connected to the National Electricity Grid, allowing the company to use self-generated electricity from renewable sources to cover part of its energy demand.
In this way, Meccanotecnica further reduces its carbon footprint, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions for its energy demand, and contributes to the spread of renewable energy sources.
The plant was realised thanks to European funds from the Umbria Region, through the contribution related to the ‘Solar Attack’ call, approved with d.d. no. 12400 of 25/11/2022, which is entirely dedicated to the use of renewable energy sources and storage systems to decrease the use of energy produced from fossil fuels.
